The Chicago Caribbean Film Festival (CCFF) is sponsored by the Caribbean American Heritage Council of Illinois (CAHCIL). As of February 6, 2017, CAHCIL became a §501(c)(3) tax exempt organization. Donations are welcomed.
The Caribbean includes English, Spanish, French, and Dutch speaking countries.
Founded in February, 2015, we work alongside the Piton International Film Festival (PIFF) (Saint Lucia); Houston Caribbean Film Festival (HCFF); and the Hampton Roads Caribbean Film Festival (HRCFF). The festival occurs in the month of June in honor of Caribbean American Heritage Month (CAHM).
The new screening dates for CCFF 2017 are June 5th through June 15th (major festival) and June 28th through June 30th (mini festival).
The major film festival will be held at the Oak Park Public Library (Main Branch) in the Veteran's Room, 834 Lake Street, Oak Park, Illinois 60301.
The mini film festival will be held at North Park University (NPU), 3225 Foster Avenue, Carlson Building #13, Chicago, Illinois 60625.
